The NEST Empowerment Center
The NEST Empowerment Center is a safe haven after the bell rings. This 10 year program of The Georgetown Project is providing a safe haven after school for Georgetown ISD teens who are homeless, at-risk or in need of resources such as evening meals, a quiet place for homework, school supplies, homework help, job readiness training, connection to community resources other supportive, therapeutic, and enrichment services provided in a positive environment with caring adults. They offer community service opportunities weekly during the calendar school year to GISD high school students.
