Sunday Morning Service at 10:30am
Each week we collect items at our Sunday service to give to local groups serving people in our area who could use a little help.
Our Bucket of Hope recipient for this quarter is The Hope Alliance.
The Angel Team is here to help YOU! If you need transportation to medical appointments, help with meal preparation, or help with grocery shopping or other errands, or just need a friendly phone call once in a while… look no further than your UCOG Angel Team. Don’t hesitate to reach out to Lizabeth Sackett, and she’ll contact the Angel Team to get you set up with whatever assistance you need. That’s what our community is all about!
Food for Friends provides meals and clothes to those in need. Contact Dona Holloway at email@example.com if interested.
Help is needed in the following areas:
You can help support the Ronald McDonald House by collecting the little tabs you pull to open soda, soup or other aluminum cans. The funds generated from recycling these aluminum gems help offset the House’s expenses such as their electric bill. There is a jar on the Bucket of Hope table in the back of the Sanctuary to deposit your tabs.
Unity Spiritual Center Georgetown is a tithing Spiritual Center. We believe in the principle of tithing and have asked our Benevolence Committee to make recommendations as to which organizations we should take into consideration when allocating our church’s monthly tithes.
The Benevolence Committee recommended to the Board to tithe to the following organizations: Unity Worldwide Ministries, Silent Unity, Food for Friends, HOPE Alliance, and The Caring Place. We will make year-end contributions to Reindeer Run and Operation Warm.
