Bucket of Hope
Each week we collect items at our Sunday service to give to local groups serving people in our area who could use a little help.
Our Bucket of Hope for July through September is The Caring Place
The Caring Place’s Mission is to provide for the basic human needs of all people in our community in a welcoming, respectful, and caring way. All monetary and food donations directly benefit neighbors needing food, utility, rent, transportation, or medical assistance. The Caring Place is a community-based and community-supported organization.

Tithing Update
Unity Church of Georgetown is a tithing church. We believe in the principle of tithing and have asked our Benevolence Committee to make recommendations as to which organizations we should take into consideration when allocating our church’s monthly tithes.
The Benevolence Committee recommended to the Board to tithe to the following organizations: Unity Worldwide Ministries, Silent Unity, Food for Friends, HOPE Alliance, and The Caring Place. We will make year-end contributions to Reindeer Run and Operation Warm.
