Bucket of Hope
Each week we collect items at our Sunday service to give to local groups serving people in our area who could use a little help.
Our recipient for July – September is the Caring Place
The Caring Place provides a variety of services to assist our neighbors in financial crisis. Residents in our service area including Georgetown, Andice, Bartlett, Florence, Granger, Jarrell, Jonah, Schwertner, Walburg, Weir and the portion of Hutto living within the Georgetown Independent School District, are eligible to apply.
The Caring Place provides financial assistance, clothing, food, as well as seasonal programs such as Food and Coat programs for the holidays and the Family Eldercare Fan Drive.

Unity Church of Georgetown is a tithing church. We believe in the principle of tithing and have asked our Benevolence Committee to make recommendations as to which organizations we should take into consideration when allocating our church’s monthly tithes.
The Benevolence Committee recommended to the Board to tithe to the following organizations: Unity Worldwide Ministries, Silent Unity, Food for Friends, HOPE Alliance, and The Caring Place. We will make year-end contributions to Reindeer Run and Operation Warm.
